A new report obviously predicts that Apple wants to replace the iPhone Duo‘s existing Touch ID with Face ID as soon as possible, and suggests that Apple Intelligence might help.

Touch ID is easily the most apparent compromise in the iPhone Duo, and Apple has had to go back it because of that model’s slim chassis. It was not physically possible to fit the usual Face ID components into that space.
Now Bloomberg has made the obvious prediction that Apple will be working to add Face ID to future generations of the iPhone Duo. But it’s also suggested that AI could be part of the solution.
