The Joe Rogan Experience

Over 2,000 episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” are now available on Apple Podcasts as the podcaster ends his exclusivity deal with Spotify.

William Gallagher for AppleInsider:

Spotify reportedly paid Joe Rogan $200 million to move his show to the streaming platform as an exclusive, back in 2020. Now, days after announcing an end to that exclusivity, the show has returned to Apple Podcast with its entire archive.

[The] show will remain on Spotify, but the star’s new deal — believed to be for $250 million — allows it to be included on other platforms. Spotify has said that it will initially appear on both Apple Podcasts and YouTube.

It wasn’t clear from the announcement whether Apple Podcasts would include the show’s archive. However, as of this writing, more than 2,000 editions are available and the dates range across the three years Rogan was exclusive to Spotify.

MacDailyNews Take: “The Joe Rogan Experience” one of the world’s most popular podcasts, regularly receiving millions of views per episode. It will only grow further now that’s it’s finally freed from its Spotify shackles.
