Apple TV on X (@AppleTV) revealed on Tuesday that Rachel Brosnahan will lead ‘Presumed Innocent’ season 2 on Apple TV+, replacing Jake Gyllenhaal as an all-new story is told each season.

Ryan Christoffel for 9to5Mac:

Brosnahan is best known for her starring role in Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which hailed from the creators of Gilmore Girls.

She will next be seen as Lois Lane in this summer’s Superman reboot from director James Gunn.

Apple not only has shared that Brosnahan is heading up Presumed Innocent season 2, but the new season’s source material has also been revealed.

It will be based on the book “Dissection of a Murder” by Jo Murray, as the show adopts a new anthology approach with each season focused on a new set of characters.
