Filming for the fourth season of Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” has begun, with stars spotted together in Kansas City.
After months of rumors and confirmation, the comedy’s fourth season is officially in production.
Apple CEO Tim Cook shared the news via X, posting a photo of stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, and Juno Temple at a diner table, surrounded by food and seemingly engaged in story discussions.

Cook captioned the image, “From biscuits to BBQ,” referencing the iconic biscuits Ted Lasso uses to charm club owner Rebecca Welton in past seasons.
The third season ended with Ted leaving AFC Richmond after three impactful years, returning to the U.S. from the UK. Apple has teased that the Richmond team will “leap before they look,” with speculation suggesting the season may focus on forming a women’s team at the club.
MacDailyNews Take: Obviously, even after the disjointed, preachy third season, “Ted Lasso” season four is great news for Apple TV+! News that we suspected all along was coming sooner or later:
“Ted Lasso” is Apple TV+’s main tentpole. Apple will make a monetary offer that Sudekis cannot refuse. — MacDailyNews, March 7, 2022
We have an exceedingly difficult time believing that “Ted Lasso” will only run three seasons. With Apple TV+ now owning the MLS broadcast rights worldwide for the next 10 years, the tie-in potential is just too strong for us to imagine that “Ted Lasso” will wrap after Season 3. – MacDailyNews, July 20, 2022
