AirPods 5 vs AirPods Pro 3: Don’t Buy Before Watching This!

AirPods 5 are here — and Apple somehow managed to make them better AND cheaper.

After spending plenty of time testing AirPods 5, including several flights, I’m comparing them directly with AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3 to see how much has actually changed.

Both AirPods 5 models now include Active Noise Cancellation, starting at just $129, while the upgraded $149 model adds wireless charging, volume controls, and longer battery life. You also get improved IP57 water and dust resistance and better ANC performance.

But how good is ANC with an open-ear design? How do they sound? And should you buy AirPods 5 instead of discounted AirPods 4 or even AirPods Pro 3?
