Sonos FINALLY Nailed It! Ace Ultra Review & AirPods Max Compare!

Sonos Ace Ultra may finally be the headphones Sonos was always supposed to make. After extensive testing, flights, music listening, and plenty of time inside the Sonos ecosystem, I think Sonos absolutely crushed it.

In this review, I’m breaking down everything new with Sonos Ace Ultra, including the improved sound quality, deeper bass, stronger ANC, excellent transparency mode, longer 35-hour battery life, new EQ options, and the new Sonos Headphone Engine 2.

But the real magic is how Ace Ultra works with the rest of your Sonos system. With Sonos 27, you can move audio between compatible Sonos speakers, soundbars, and your headphones — even grabbing audio from a nearby speaker with the Content Key.

I’ll also compare Sonos Ace Ultra to AirPods Max 2. Apple still has some major advantages with its ecosystem features and integration, but at $100 less, the Ace Ultra makes a seriously compelling alternative — especially if you already own Sonos gear.
