I've been using the iPhone 18 Pro for a full week, and after spending most of that time with the Burgundy 6.3-inch model as my daily driver, I have a pretty good idea of what actually matters and what doesn't.
The iPhone 18 Pro brings Apple's new A20 Pro chip, a variable aperture 48-megapixel main camera, new Pro camera controls, a smaller Dynamic Island, improved battery life, a larger vapor chamber, the C2 modem, and some subtle design changes. But coming from the iPhone 17 Pro, this feels much more like a refinement than a major generational upgrade.
In this review, I go through my experience with the iPhone 18 Pro after one week, including the new camera system and variable aperture, A20 Pro performance, battery life, design, Burgundy finish, and how it compares to the iPhone 17 Pro. I also break down whether it's worth upgrading if you have an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro or older device, or a standard iPhone 16 or iPhone 17.
