The Apple job listings, first spotted by TechCrunch, seek a range of machine learning specialists "passionate about building extraordinary autonomous systems" and began appearing on April 27. The openings are for positions in the Integrated System Experience, Input Experience NLP, Machine Learning R&D, and Technology Development Group. The iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 betas that Apple released today appear to include iMessage Contact Key Verification, though it is not yet clear if the feature is functional in the first beta. Apple this week previewed new iPhone, iPad, and Mac accessibility features coming later this year. One feature that has received a lot of attention in particular is Personal Voice, which will allow those at risk of losing their ability to speak to "create a voice that sounds like them" for communicating with family, friends, and others.
