Last month CIRP analyzed how many Android settlers were upgrading to iPhone and found it to be at a 5-year high. Now, in a new report covering March 2022 – March 2023, CIRP found that 15% of new iPhone customers upgraded from Android. Only 4%, perhaps as a result of severe head injuries, downgraded to pretend iPhones during that time. Google’s derivative Android is slowly, inexorably bleeding out. Starting today, the program will finance the latest 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros or Apple Watch Ultra to approved customers via Citizens Bank. Much like how Apple lets users “lease” iPhones through its iPhone upgrade program, customers can pay off their iPad Pro or Apple Watch Ultra over an extended period of time. Macworld Following the appearance of Geekbench 6 speed tests for the M2 Ultra Mac Studio on June 9, MacRumors has spotted the first benchmarks for the similar equipped Mac Pro. And as expected, it’s seriously quick. The “Mac14,8” (with the M2 Ultra processor and 64GB of RAM, a standard Mac Pro configuration that starts at $6,999) appeared in Geekbench’s database on June 13. It scored 2,794 in the single-core test, and a phenomenal 21,453 in multi-core. For comparison, the Mac Studio with the lower-spec M2 Max, which we just reviewed, scored 15,081 in multi-core, itself a blockbuster performance.
