If you haven’t updated to watchOS 26 yet, and you live in or plan to visit Australia, you should grab the new watchOS 11.6.2 update right away.
The release notes only say “This update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users.”
Apple has clarified that the actual bug fixed is a cellular network issue on Series 6, Series 7, Series 8, Series 9, Series 10, SE 2, Ultra, and Ultra 2 that affects their ability to connect to emergency services in Australia.
